Disability

a minority group that touches everyone

In my local school district here in Palo Alto California, there are just over 1000 students with IEPs (Individualized Education Programs), around 700 with 504 plans. Numerous students have ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, and other disabilities that don’t qualify for special education services.

That is 2000 students who have 4000 parents, plus siblings, other family members, and friends.

This is true pretty much everywhere. 15 to 20 percent of my community and yours is disaabled.

And almost all of us are going to experience disability at some point in our lives.

If you can’t find something you are looking for, make a guess at the code or document along with your email address (don’t worry, you won’t be added to an email list unless you want to be)… and I’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.
